Got the replacement splitter on (since I snapped the old one off in the grass when I went off at T6 at Gateway :/ I also got new N24 replica vinyl made for the hood since I had t remove the old one for paint, and my buddy Travis did a great job on it! He also knocked out 2 smaller ones for my front doors. Thanks Trav!

We had beautiful weather today, so I decided to try my hand at shadow lining the trim on Siobhan. I have never done this before, but it really isn't difficult at all. It is time consuming to tape of the areas around the trim, but that is it.
I wet-sanded the chrome trim using 320 grit, then hit the trim with Duplicolor self-etching primer. I did 2 light coats, followed by one heavier one. 30 minutes later, I started laying down the Duplicolor trim and bumper paint. Same drill; a couple of light coats 10 minutes apart, followed by a heavier one. After the paint had dried, I pulled off the painter's tape and paper, and viola! Shadowlined trim on the passenger side. I will do the driver's side tomorrow.

MUCH better! But, MAN, I need to paint the rest of the car!!Last edited by kingston; 02-19-2016, 03:21 PM.‘Tis by the grace of God that my cars run!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.

One of the things I have been meaning to do for a long time is get camber and toe adjusters welded onto the rear subframe, so I picked up a set of the AKG ones from Levent at Guten Parts. I had a spare one from an endurance race car we are building, and my mechanic buddy Bob get the adjusters all welded up for me.

It will be nice to get a proper alignment on Siobhan!‘Tis by the grace of God that my cars run!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.
